100% British Manx Loaghtan Aran Wool.

Manx Loaghtans are a primitive breed of sheep originating on the Isle of Man. Their brown wool is not the softest but has good hardwearing properties making it ideal for jumpers hats or scarves. This yarn has been woollen spun which gives a plumper, loftier yarn that traps more air than worsted-spun making it a warmer option.
100% mixed wool.
Weight approx 350m(385yards) per 100g.
This yarn is a 100% Peruvian wool blend. It is a very plump '4ply' making it ideal for scarves, cowls, hats or even jumpers or cardigans. While we have dyed up this yarn for a few years it is now effectivly discontinued
100% Falkland (origin unknown).
Weight approx 108m(120yards) per 100g.
This is a high-quality standard chunky wool ideal for hats or scarves as it offers the double whammy of super-warm falkland wool with a chunky weight. Early on this was a yarn we did quite a bit of but as we have focussed on dyeing the finer weights it now only makes very rare apearances at shows.
